Elie BOURI earned his Ph.D. in finance and his M.Sc. in financial engineering from the USEK School of Business of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK). He is currently a research coordinator at the same university where he also teaches financial markets and financial engineering courses. He also serves as a referee for several ABS- and CNRS -ranked journals covering empirical topics in corporate governance and financial economics. His main research interests lie in the field of energy economics. His research has appeared in leading international journals such as Journal of Management and Governance, International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics, Journal of Emerging Market Finance, Journal of Economic Studies, Economics Bulletin, Journal of Economic Integration, Economia Politica, Journal of Alternative Investments, Energy Studies review, Energy Policy, Energy, and Energy Economics, among others.
