Claude Sassoulas is the Managing Director of the Europe region for Tata Communications, part of the $100.09 billion Tata Group. He is responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations and all sales and marketing efforts targeted to the wholesale and enterprise markets in Europe. Claude’s vast experience and keen understanding of the European market is core to Tata Communications’ global growth. He plays an important role in the global strategy initiatives taken by the company as it continues to expand its customer facing activity in key global markets. Prior to joining Tata Communications, Claude was the Managing Director of Europe for Asia Netcom, a pan-Asian telecommunication subsidiary of China Netcom. He has 20 years of sales management, business development and finance experience, with a significant background in the international telecommunications industry beginning with Sprint International (1993-1995), continuing with Global One (1996-1997)
