As Director of Product Marketing for Cloud Security at Akamai, Alistair Tooth is responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for Akamai’s web security solutions in EMEA. With over with 13 years’ experience working in the IT services industry, He enables the field sales and marketing teams, educates the industry on Akamai's competitive positioning and evangelises the company’s offering as part of the sales cycle. He joined Akamai in 2015 from Rackspace where he headed up Product Management and Product Marketing for the VMware Private Cloud sector of Rackspace’s business across EMEA. He was also in charge of the management of vendor relations within security, networks, virtualization and cloud product portfolios. Prior to this position, Alistair was Senior Network and Security Product Manager, a Network Security Manager and a Senior Technician at Rackspace. He has also held positions as a Network Manager and Technician at Fujitsu and a Marketing Manager at Sony.
